My wii weight loss experiment begins

Yesterday while shopping with my parents I noticed that the wii fit had been released.  I decided I would treat myself and see if it has an effect on my ever lasting struggle with weight loss.  I’ve heard of a few success stories so I figure I will give it a go. Let me explain a bit about myself to fill you in on who I am and how I got here.

I do have another weight loss blog - Diary of a Sugar Addict which I still will be updating but I wanted to make a dedicated blog for this experiment to share with my readers and anyone interested in giving it a go for themselves.  In short, I have been overweight, obese since I was 6 or 7 years old.  I was bullied horrendously at school and I’ve never been able to shift the pounds completely.  Constantly yo yo dieting I have had enough especially with my 27th birthday looming.  I have tried nearly every diet going - Juicing, Smoothies, Fasting, GI, Slim Fast, Weight Watchers and more.  Nothing has worked and I know now that the key to long term weight loss and maintenance is a healthy diet, no junk food and plenty of exercise.

I am going to even document this experiment with photos which I will take tomorrow.  This is a pretty frightening thought but it HAS to be done.  I’d appreciate it if I didn’t get any nasty comments left about m bulk though!

So tomorrow the experiment starts.  I am going to eat three healthy meals a day.  Snack only on fruit / healthy snacks and I am going to use my wii fit every single day that I am at home, for 60 minutes a day.  I will partake in other exercise too as I have a gym membership although it is rather difficult for me to get there at the moment but I will document when I go to the gym and how long I worked out for to help in your decision to get your own wii fit.

Until tomorrow… D day, where I post my weight, height, BMI and photos.  I am so not looking forward to this.
