I have STARTED the challenge
After messing around for the past 2 months, I have finally started the Wii Fit Weight Loss Challenge. I weigh the same as I did 2 months ago, and I look the same and I’ve finally had enough and something has clicked where I need to exercise and do something about the way that I look.
My new boyfriend constantly makes digs about my size, and told me the other night that I wasn’t going to Portugal on holiday with him unless I lose 2 stone in 2 months. I also just had my 27th birthday and that was a bit of a wake up call that this is the last chance I have really to do something about my weight.
So anyway what have I done so far? Last Saturday night I was on my wii fit for just over an hour. I did hula hooping, jogging on the spot, step (I even unlocked the free training step and did 20 minutes) and a few muscle exercises.
Sunday morning bright and early I couldn’t sleep so I did another 30 minutes of the same type of thing. I have ordered a few exercise DVDs which will also help in the cardio department! I have started a healthy eating plan so why don’t I tell you what has been on the menu for today…
Breakfast:
40g Cornflakes with Skimmed Milk and a small glass of orange juice
Lunch:
40g wafer thin ham, 15g grated half fat cheese in a flour tortilla wrap with sliced cucumber, red pepper and spring onion
Dinner:
Home made beef stroganoff with diced beef, mushrooms, onions and paprika. Served with a spoonful of low fat fromage frais stirred through, 60g uncooked rice and green beans. Dessert of a weight watchers chocolate mousse.
Snacks: 2 Jaffa Cakes
My boyfriend will be away until Sunday on a stag party holiday in Spain so now is the perfect time to do a kick start in the diet and exercise. No distractions apart from a meal out on Saturday which was meant to be a pasta place with my best friend. Wish me luck!
